Yes, I would love the tutorial video for the chapter sample.

It’s not making money because I haven’t uploaded it to kdp yet 😢
I just want my book off Amazon
So i can go elsewhere!
Romance doesn’t have to have a happily ever after…
Yes, romances do need to have an Happily Ever After. Love stories do not, though.
By definition, if the book doesn’t end in happily ever after, it’s not a romance
For non-US authors it’s practically impossible to get registered at the Library of Congress, where they gather ALL books published in the USA. And IF it’s possible, it costs a lot of money to have a marketing program set up with an (indie) marketing company. As a European author, I’ve been trying to get my books registered at the LoC, but it’s just way too expensive to have it done. And doing it myself is also just impossible, because I have to be a US citizen to do so.
I didn’t even talk about getting registered at library of congress?
@@MandiLynnWrites Nope. I didn’t hear you mention it.
Please do a tutorial on how to do a free sample for Amazon
KDP does it automatically.
Great info!
Awesome as usual. Thanks Mandi!
Yes, please. I would appreciate a tutorial on the sample pdf.
Looking to use D2D for epub and Audible do they distribute for the author? After a rewrite on the book blurb the interest climbed. 😁
D2D is an aggregate so they publish the book to multiple sites and take a cut of your royalties after each site takes a cut of your royalties. I use them because managing versions of each book to have new backmatter and updated links with every new release was worth the cut of royalties.
I have bought books that allowed me to read the first chapter. I would love to offer that option. A video would be helpful.
Amazon provides a sample automatically. You can email them if you want them to provide a longer sample, but it’s already enough to get an idea of the book. My book Defying Zeus: a sci fi mythology romance has an automatically generated sample if you want to see how long that is.
Thank you for giving these tips. 😊
I read this about christian fantasy because they put it as christian and then speculative fiction and then it ends up in the christian section. Instead you should choose fantasy as your main category and then pick christian as subgenre if you want to go that route. Are your marketing books available at B&N or only Amazon.
