How To Optimize An Amazon PPC Campaign

In this transcript, the speaker discusses two ways to reduce advertising costs (ACoS) and optimize an Amazon ad campaign. The first method involves analyzing ACoS data over time to identify abnormal days and adjust ad campaigns accordingly. The speaker recommends pausing campaigns on weekends when sales tend to be lower and resuming them during weekdays.

The second method involves comparing keyword targeting and product targeting campaigns within ad groups. The speaker suggests that product targeting campaigns tend to be more efficient in generating sales compared to keyword targeting campaigns, citing specific return on ad spend (ROAS) figures.

Additionally, the speaker advises evaluating individual keyword performance within ad groups by considering the spend, ROAS, and match type (exact, phrase, or broad). They recommend pausing keywords with high spend but no orders, as well as those with ROAS below 2.0. The speaker also recommends using the “exact match” type for keyword targeting campaigns.

Finally, the speaker shares a trick to adjust bids to achieve a desired ACoS. They calculate a coefficient by dividing the existing ACoS by the desired ACoS and use it to lower their keyword bids. Lowering bids can reduce advertising costs while maintaining efficiency.

The speaker emphasizes the importance of continuous optimization and suggests that product targeting campaigns are particularly effective for new Amazon sellers.

  1. Hey brother, your making very motivational and nice videos,
i have at least one request if you do see my comment, if you can make a video from start to end of how to work with amazon fba in 2023, i have watched a lot of your videos and others people at the same time, they never say if we need to start creating (Business accounts), (LLC), (Corporation), (Resale Certificate) , or (Sellers Permit).
from the start to adding a product for a sale will be a great tutorial.

    Thank You!
