Mandi Lynn published her first novel when she was seventeen. The author of multiple books, Mandi spends her days continuing to write and creating YouTube videos to help other writers achieve their dreams of seeing their books published. Mandi is the owner of Stone Ridge Books, a company that works to help authors bring their books to life through cover design and digital book marketing. She is also the creator of The Book Launch Planner, a planner designed to help authors publish and market their books. When she’s not creating, you can find Mandi exploring her backyard or getting lost in the woods.

Another great book series on how to write a book is the “Write Novels That Sell” series by K. Stanley and L. Cooke. There are currently four books in that series. The books are: “Secrets to Editing a Novel,” “Secrets to Outlining a Novel,” “Secrets to Writing a Series,” and “Secrets to Writing a Fantasy.” Right now, all but the last book about writing a fantasy are out in paperback format as well. I’ve found these books very helpful when it comes to writing a book.
I’ll have to check those out!
@@MandiLynnWrites I’ve read all but the one on editing. What these two authors do is have you write a very basic skeleton blurb for your story. Then they have you fill in the five main components that every story has. And then they have you fill in all the rest for your outline. The fantasy book takes it a step further by having you create two skeleton blurbs for your story. You have the your typical basic skeleton blurb for the story and one for the supernatural elements of the story. They also you how this is broken down by using at least five popular fantasy stories.
And if someone is still feeling lazy or didn’t understand the video ,
I’m a Ghostwriter I can write u the whole book if u provide me the idea. I can help you turn your simplest thoughts to a professional looking text book
Thank you for sharing your experience and this great advice! I’m shifting over to Fantasy flash fiction for a while to help build a consistent writing habit and started a channel to hold myself accountable. It’s been a challenge to adjust my mindset—focusing on conveying just enough information to make the story interesting, without diving too deep into details. Your brainstorming ideas are great to help all my ideas in check!
