  1. This guy is a genius. The way he praises his employees and pay them well. That guy understood everything it is to get to lead a business especially the type of business he is doing.

    1. his point on rebuild the company if you change people all the time is so true. That guy a genius.. I don’t use that word easily. And I am kinda smart myself. And the positive psychology books that people still laugh bout to this day is also a genius move. Sometimes your mindset is bad. It’s actually smart to improve it. The same way you hire one of the real men of his business to fix your basement.

    2. Oh yes its hard to find skilled workers

Its even harder to keep them

I worked in a readymix concrete and block factory

The profits was decreasing from 2011 – 2019 because of low demand, taxes and most importantly high government fees

But we were profitable at least

till upper management changed 50% of skilled workers to decrease cost

Today they are loosing money and soon will close shop

Its easier to demolish than to build

  2. This guys is a purest example of a leader, not a boss. He treats people that works under him as a member of a big family. Hell of a man~

    1. Absolutely. But it’s also helped by the generous profit margins in construction. The bigger the projects, the more margin you can have.

  3. You can see how much this guy respects and values his employees. Definitely one of the keys to his success.

    1. He doesn’t, 100 thousand a year for putting up with all that crappy job and that could make you sick, the money you earned will be not even enough to heal. This guy is the typical narcicist who makes a fortune and do not enjoy it, because he is a slave of his empire.

    2. @@pierreclifton1865 he doesn’t look stressed or worried Bruh lol. thats who he is and he seems he is happy for what he accomplish in his life

    3. @@pierreclifton1865 If that looks worried or stressed to you then you havent been out in the real world long enough. he looked absolutely fine and content. hes the center of the documentary in front of a camera. of course he might have some tense moments.

  4. a normal guy who became a legit billionaire without psychopathic and narcissistic behaviour.
what a man, so well deserved !

    1. You can determine, from that short video that he is not psychopathic and narcissistic?

    2. @@orvinstrickler2130 yes, because people have been working for this man for decades.
Would you work so long for a guy that had that kind of behaviour? Ofc not.. you can just tell by his aura, that he is a decent person tbh.

    3. @marken8888  But people put 30 to 40 years at ATT, KO, school systems etc. You are making no sence because you don’t know history. Feel sorry for people like you that live the rest of their lives on feminine feelings.

  5. I’ve worked in several places that do not value their employees like this man, and boy, you can tell the difference right off. Employees are your MOST VALUABLE ASSET!! Loyalty is everything. Total respect.

    1. @portagepete1  wait till he looks them up online and finds out they have horrible employee reviews and salary satisfaction at his companies because this is propaganda. Nobody is a “self made” billionaire without exploiting people. He’s just as garbage as the rest of them. Nothing in his story lines up or is able to be proven factual

  6. Dude is so chilled and his explanation is just perfect.

People don’t stay that long in companies unless they’re treated and paid their worth.

    1. Yeah. We should all aim to have some self-respect. If the employer treats you poorly, if the boss is a mean son of a b*tch and you get paid the bare minimum, just quit. You don’t owe them anything.

    2. @@randomnumbers84269 absolutely. There’s no point in staying at a place that is constantly chipping away at your mental health for damn peanuts, even for a well-paying job. You die, they replace you within a week or month.

    3. Yes, but the dignity you deserve as a human vs your ability to do your job aren’t the same. If you suck at your job, can’t or won’t improve, and aren’t trying to be the best then you aren’t going to be seen as a high value employee. There’s two sides to everything.

    4. I’m one of ~120 people in the building and haven’t met my CEO yet :
Currently looking for employment somewhere else

  7. “We didn’t make a BIG jump; we made a lot of little ones!” Thats a great message that our youth needs to hear. Long term consistency with a vison and achievable goals driving it will yield no matter what.

  8. “It’s been 40 years, okay? We didn’t make big jumps. We made a lot of little ones.” gave me goosebumps! He’s got the right mindset and great humility. It’s no wonder his companies are so successful!

    1. Success comes from repeated failure, if you experience only success, you are perfect, and let’s be clear, no one is.

  9. With markets tumbling, inflation soaring, the Fed imposing large interest-rate hike, while treasury yields are rising rapidly—which means more red ink for portfolios this quarter. How can I profit from the current volatile market, I’m still at a crossroads deciding if to liquidate my $125k bond/stocck portfolio.

    1. The market is volatile at this time, hence i will suggest you get yourself a financial-advisor that can provide you with entry and exit points on the shares/ETF you focus on.

    2. very true, I started investing before the pandemic and that same year I pulled a profit of about $600k with no prior investing experience, basically all I was doing was seeking guidance to make a from a financial-advisorr, you can be passively involved with the aid of a professional.

    3. wow ,that’s stirring! Do you mind connecting me to your advisor please. I desperately need one to diversified my portfolio.

    4. Thank you for this amazing tip. I just looked the name up, wrote her explaining my financial market goals and scheduled a call

  10. I’ve worked with probably hundreds of millionaires and shaken the hands of two billionaires but none were as humble as this guy. A real gem.

    1. He is not a great owner if you look up either of his companies you’ll see that they have terrible reviews from employees and horrible salary satisfaction because he’s lying.

    2. @@justinwitt6364ahh yess here we go. If everyone would be happy then this guy would have created utopia. His success speaks for itself self. You can’t make everyone happy but the right people you certainly can and that’s what he has done.

    3. @@justinwitt6364 typical billionaires. its time for the proletariat stop falling for this american dream trap. he doesnt deserve his wealth. it was created by his employees.
      We must end with capitalism

    4. Should take with a grain of salt. As someone who has worked maintaince for almost 10 years, we run on bitterness nicotine and caffeine.
If you’re not bitching, your either new or dead.

  11. You can see how genuine Larry is with regard to respect and appreciation of his fellow workers/employees. Enjoyed the wholesomeness of this video which is not something you would normally say when watching an interview of a billionaire.

  12. Respect for his employees, respect for his customers, respect for his dealers, great work ethic, patience&humility, family man, sense of legacy, … .
This man is a true role mode❤!

    1. People always say that but in this case I have to agree, “I don’t get my self esteem from how much money I get, I get it from the people working here saying ‘I trust you'”

    2. Putting up plastic in the crawl space with a Dehumidifier is completely Wrong on every level the plastic is a health hazard and fire hazard and the dehumidifier uses tons of electric. All you need to do is devert the downspout water far from the house.

    3. @@portagepete1 There is always someone who thinks they can do it better, but until they do, it’s just talk.

    4. @@portagepete1 Good ol’ Adam Savage always says: “In theory, practice and theory is the same; but in practice…”.

  13. This guy is a freaking legend! Such great insights from some one who’s walking the walk. Inspiring to say the least — thanks for the great content Noah!

  14. What a great interview. A successful businessman who grinded and kept his family a priority. Much respect.

  15. Technical classes in highschool are awesome. Need more of those. I took electrical technology (electrician / electrical engineering path) and learned a lot. Got a summer job doing electrical work and gained valuable experience. I didn’t choose that path, but it improved my understanding of how the world works. Kids need these practical skills and perspectives.

    1. Imagine high school preparing you to start your own business, rather than only preparing you to go into lifelong debt for college so you’re stuck working for someone else.

    2. @@LuckyCharms777 Exactly. Love the way you framed it. A skill based business is definitely a more powerful position to start adult life with for most people. And you can always do continuing education on the side to level up general knowledge or get degrees as you work and earn.

    3. In New York the democratic politicians did away with all the trade school programs for kids in the inner city teaching them skills that can make them independently wealthy. These politicians today don’t want our youth truly educated

    4. I did the same path but i stayed on it and now im a maintenance technician/electrical engineer in a chem cleaning company at 23 and once i started to work here i still feel like ive missed alot of stuff to learn about especially with my hands

    5. I was a very smart kid (went to top uni’s and unfortuneatly became a lawyer)….in high school guidence counsler calls me down asking why I am taking auto and metal shop if I am applying to top schools….it will hurt your chances….my response…only classes I am learning anything

  16. That ad break at 5:50 was pretty funny.

“At your funeral, nobody’s going to say oh he had so much money, they don’t care”
    into
“learn how to double your income”

    1. I went Premium due to being sick and tired of the ads but yes I seen some wierd ads.

    1. Failure to take good actions on your finance, lncome will remain stable while expenditures rise. The rich acquire fortune cause they seek the aid of finance-pro(s) to achieve their goaIs.

    2. that’s an upright approach, I’m 52 and my financiaI Iife is in a mess. Any ldea would really go a long way in shaping my life.

    3. I obtained massive growth in my finance (amount is confidentiaI) by varying into a lot with the aid of my finance pro. hereby making my financiaI goals a reaIity.

  17. I am fully confident in my abilities to achieve my goals and succeed in whatever I set my mind to. I trust myself to make the right decisions and take the necessary actions to create the life that I want.
