@MandiLynnWrites So your viewers have to pay to find out what you earn? In that case – don’t you think your title is a bit misleading?
It says, “My 2025 Income & Book Stats as a Self-Published Author”, but you don’t tell us your income in the video. I mean, the only reason I watched it was because I was curious (as an author myself) to find out how much you were earning. You even opened your video with “How much money did I make in 2025…?” So basically you clickbaited me (and, I’m sure, many others) into watching it. Not cool.
When you talk business, expenses should reflect business expenses, not personal expenses. I can’t imagine what big expenses there were from a writing and streaming perspective. New computer?
When you publish your own books there is a shed load of expenses, professional editing, cover design, and formatting are expensive, often costing thousands of dollars.
I appreciate your channel. I’m in the beginning process of writing my first book. Thank you for sharing your journey.
