Preparing to Write a Novel in a Month! – Writing Vlog

Preparing to Write a Novel in a Month! – Writing Vlog // It's been a while since we've had a writing vlog! Mostly because I haven't been able to write. In this vlog, I'm finishing up the outline for my next novel and brainstorming for the series as a whole. In fact, I even came up with the series title, which I'm already so excited about! I'll dive into this book very soon because the outline is almost done! Stay tuned for more writing vlogs!

  1. Ooh Mandy, I’m so glad you popped up on my phone. I’m working on a series as well. I’m stuck It’s been several years since my first award winning book in the series was published. Life has been happening with losses and other challenges and detours. I thought it would help if I began with an outline. .. still stuck. I’ve written some but I need to finish before the end of the year. No outline yet.

  2. Oooohhhh ❤ Love the series name and the airport stuff. Some airport workers can even crush on passengers who travel often. Jealous juiciness

  3. Yay on being back to writing. I’d love a vlog to see how you managed the trip, but don’t trouble yourself too much with it. I like the series name, but possibly “Flying Into Love” as a variationon the theme. (And of course she likes seeing herself on camera. She knows she’s cute.) (Also kudos for blurring her face to keep to your decision to protect her privacy, but we got to see her & she’s getting so big!)

    1. Trying to find a healthy balance of keeping things real while keeping her privacy 🙂

    1. @@MandiLynnWrites YAAY! So impressed by all of your hard work alongside being a new mom. As a writer and vlogger ready for a kiddo of my own its been both realistic and inspiring<3 Thank you for creating content!

  4. It would be cute if the airport code was like FTL to be the title. Idk if that’s an airport. Love the concept and the title. Super cute!

  5. I love the Emotion Thesaurus! I use it quite a bit. I just ordered the negative and positive thesauruses. I am so excited to use them!

  6. that’s such a cute title for the series. i love it. i love writing retreat vlogs so if it’s not too difficult for you to vlog it, please do ☺

  7. I am curious on what your organization looks like? How you keep track of tasks, book info, how you stay on top of deadlines and timelines? I don’t know if you already have a video on this or if you have any tips or programs regarding the way you organize things?

  8. so fun to watch. Any suggestions for if you mostly just write poetry and are trying to figure out how to even get started besides just entering local competitions and art museums

  9. You should grab the emotional wound thesaurus! That is always my first step when fleshing out characters and it helps you identify negative and positive traits that both relate to your characters arcs!

  10. Oh my goodness, I must have been away for quite some time. Such an adorable little one ^^ I hope everything is going well with your writing. I am excited for your new creation ^^
