    1. Sorry to hear that! I would make sure you look at the requirements for working with a given seller. You can usually find those guidelines on their affiliate tools page. In the case of Pelvic Floor Strong, they say that they work with “a very small pool of quality media buyers and affiliates.”

Looks like they want media buyers, publishers (owners of a website/blog), social media creators, and email list managers. If you haven’t been approved to promote Pelvic Floor Strong yet, I would pivot to an open affiliate offer (one with no approval required) and build up my chops with paid ads or continue to grow a following/subscriber base on organic traffic – then try again later.

Probably not the answer you want to hear, but you’ll be MUCH better positioned to work with a seller that requires approval after you build up proof of your expertise in one of those above traffic sources. Thanks so much for your comment!

    1. I checked our internal database and it looks like there’s no data yet, but it’s very new. So I’ll watch this next week and keep you posted when numbers start flowing, including cvr. Thanks for the question!

  1. So, as a new affilate who does not have a website nor a email list but I have social media channels on a few platforms. What is the best to advertise your offers? Also most of us do not buy all these products that we want to promote for whatever reason – how do we convincingly accomplish that? thanks

    1. Structurally, I would add a link in your bio or About section that points to a microsite or landing page, and embed your affiliate tracking link(s) there. For Instagram, I would also recommend looking into a tool like ManyChat with DM funnel automation, so you can send links to users who comment under your posts (possibly to that same landing page, or to a unique one with an opt-in).

If your goal is to grow your following AND make money as an affiliate, I would split your post types up into 3 different buckets: (1) top of funnel content that appeals to strangers, very hook-focused (CTA: ask them to follow); (2) middle of funnel content that shares a tip or tactic in your niche (CTA: ask question for engagement); (3) bottom of funnel content promoting your affiliate solution (CTA: Check link in bio or comment to learn more).

I think this would be a good place to start! In terms of strategy, you’ll have to test what gets the most engagement and interest from your audience – but you should get pretty far with this approach. (And even if you’re not buying all of the products, you can still demonstrate expertise in your niche so your audience comes to trust your recommendations.) I hope that helps!
