David I love your content, straight to the point and speaking from experience. I’m a strategic advisor for ai implementation for SMB and small enterprise but I’d love to connect and see how you think AI can be used effectively in a business you acquire or before you’d sell one. I think there are up sides on both and I love the topic. I’ll try to reach out to you on LinkedIn if you are there.
Lots of useful info condensed into a short video. Love it.
Glad you enjoyed it!
This is great info. Very well laid out and explained. You need an audible book on this.
If someone had a great business then you have got to ask why they want to sell the business in the first place. The best thing is talking to someone who actually works in the business to get behind the scene info. Jp Morgan bought a business in student loans and then realised the customers were inflated 10 times. If they had managed to talk to someone in the inside or got its employees to act as students and enrol. Its amazing how big companies just dive in and it all comes down to boring and excitement. Buy quick is excitement and that is why it continues to happen.
100% true, however, there are millions of businesses being sold in the next 10 years because so many baby boomers and genXers are retiring and they don’t have any children who want to inherit the business.
also, a lot of them want a good exit. my brother-in-law just sold his practice for millions. i can’t believe his son didn’t want the business.
This video has gave me so many ideas and insights on how to actually start a business…..so it’s ready to sell and I do not suffer from keyman issues. Thanks brother genuinely. Keep Rocking! I’m subbing to stay tuned.
Awesome, thank you!
Been trying this for the last 12 months here in the Uk it’s almost impossible unless you are well known personality
The UK is failed state that has fallen/ been conquered. Its hardly the land of opportunity unless your idea of opportunity is selling Muslim prayer rugs or halal meats
Good to know as I am based in the uk as well.
@bottega.systems why dont the two of you get together?
How much you looking to buy for
In what way is it impossible? What’s the main hurdle you face?
I like how you talk: straight, no BS, acknowledging your faults and failures. Very helpful stuff.
Subscribed.
“I would have spent more time with front-line employees before instead of after.”
And then what?
Had you done that, would you have still bought the company? If yes, how would the deal have been different?
Thank you.
Love your content and the way you present the information. I just existed a business I built for 10 years and looking for the next move. Your videos are very motivating.
Cool shirt
It would be great , if said how we can find businesses for sale.
Buy his course, of course.
Great clip Mr.Heacock
It’s 2026. There is so much accessible technology to solve deep pain points within boring industries. Doesn’t have to be a boring business to solve boring industry problems.
Go start it first bro using that tech u said. Then when u already rich, make a video like this guy did telling how u do it.
so if there are repeatable processes then AI can help improve an okay business. Ai is also tied to “systems” such as CRM or Google Spreadsheets, etc. AI can help scale operations so mediocre businesses can be great. AI is changing every several weeks.
how did you even locate a seller like this
the hard part is finding someone who whant to sells
thats fire🔥🔥
this is really helpful
Thanks so much ❤
Awesome. Straight to the point
