  1. Congratulations on the book signing!!! When I finish writing my book I’ll have to try your marketing strategies! This was so much fun to watch, thank you!!

    1. I’m so glad you enjoyed it, and I hope these tips help when you have your own signing!

  2. Yay what an awesome signing! Hehe this is weird but the cash box with the tape reminded me of BookCon, good memories haha!

    1. OMG so true! The fact the the washi tape has help up this long is honestly so impressive 😂

  3. Glad this was worth all the work! Would love to see a how-to for offering a “free novella” process. Where do you host it? How does it work? Thanks for sharing!

  4. Hi. Out of curiosity, what size is your trope card you used to put inside of your book? The one you used to display tropes. I like that idea and wanna do it for my own books. But I have trouble figure out the size😅

  5. That looks like so much fun. Random question, what dolly/cart are you using, I do markets for my pottery studio and that dolly looks perfect to transport big bins of anythign i would ever need to take to a show!

  6. Congrats, Mandi Lynn, that was an amazing book signing. Can I ask where you made those fantastic trope cards?? Genius idea.

  7. Thanks for showing this. I’ve tried many times to have a successful online presence with my art prints and art/poetry books but I have never been able to. But when I participate in local art shows and am able to connect with people that way, I have no problem being able to sell my creative works. It is nice to see folks who have a successful online presence still engaging with the local creative scene.

  8. I don’t know if I can think of anything more nerve racking than a book signing. I remember once I saw an old man doing a book signing out the front a bookstore and NO ONE came and I’m still deeply traumatised from imagining if that was me.

  9. This is SO cool!! There’s a market down the road , my sister and I I used to sell “cat’s eyes” contact lenses and make a buck or two when we were much younger. I never thought to do a book signing. You look so happy

  10. Wow I could learn a lot from you I just got my first set of bulk books 📚 I have 20 published but only 2 on paperback
