I just got a call on my first potential client. Needs shell on setting up qbo and training. But have no idea where to start or how. Should I go back and do more training to get more confident? He is a real estate client. Any help will help. Thank you.
Hi Jorge. You should learn how to set up QBO for a basic business. You should go back and get more training from the free QBO ProAdvisor certification training or from any bookkeeping training you have training. Keep in mind, though, that Real Estate is a niche business. You may want to stick to simpler business types such as service-based businesses.

My struggle is finding a CPA, lawyer and other bookkeepers to refer people to when they have questions or situations outside of my wheelhouse.
This is what worked for me: I did in-person networking in my city and met a trusted CPA (who’s actually now my CPA).
Networking in Facebook groups (for bookkeepers and accountants) also helps.
I just deleted my social media accounts under Meta. Your group will be very missed! I learned a lot in there and from your videos here. Thanks for providing this super helpful content!
