Does it require landing page to promote, Clickbank affiliate products.?
If yes, then from where I can learn to create landing page.?
It depends on how you’re promoting but a lot of affiliates like to use “bridge pages” to send traffic to that then sends people to the sales page.
Accelerator by ClickBank is a great, simple page builder you can use
Love this episode (and the freeze-dried guacamole)… really makes me rethink what I thought I knew about VSLs
We must bring back that guac
Thank you Patrick for the amazing data.
Thanks for watching!
This was a GREAT episode. So much value and some many gems.
Thanks so much for watching!
Great insight!
Thanks so much!
Hey @ClickBankYT team! I really enjoyed this episode—there was so much great data on VSLs! I was particularly surprised to learn that the ideal length for a VSL is between 15 and 30 minutes. I also never realised that viewers convert better when the player controls are visible 🤔. I’m curious: Have you guys tested whether adding chapters to a VSL impacts engagement or conversions?
Thanks for watching! Can you explain your question?
@@ClickBankYTteam! Thanks for responding! 😊 I’m curious about the use of chapters in VSLs. Given that the ideal length falls between 15-30 minutes, I’m wondering if breaking down the content with chapters could impact viewer engagement and conversions. ● Could chapters make longer VSLs (those exceeding 30 minutes) more digestible and engaging, potentially improving retention rates? ● Could chapters help viewers navigate to specific sections they’re most interested in, leading to a more personalised experience and potentially higher conversions? Have you conducted any tests or have any data on the effectiveness of using chapters within VSLs? 🤔 I’d love to hear your insights!
It works in mid-to-high awareness traffic (e.g., retargeting, email)
Offers where the viewer wants details—e.g., “Tell me the mechanism,” “Show me proof,” etc.
But I don’t think it works in cold traffic
Because narrative-heavy or emotionally driven VSLs (chapters break the hypnotic rhythm)
2. Can chapters personalize the experience and boost conversions?
For warm traffic or high-intent viewers, yes…
Think of it like “Choose Your Own Adventure” VSL behavior. If someone’s already interested, chapter labels like:
“How It Works”
“Real Results”
“Why This Is Different”
…let them self-select what matters most.
This mimics the effect of segmented email flows, giving autonomy without overwhelming.
But again…this is better as a feature for follow-up traffic, not the main conversion path on cold.
Does that make sense?
3. From my know, I don’t think there is ny data or tests on ClickBank or Meta on chapters directly…
But Wistia and Vimeo Business have reported th
Chaptered videos increase rewatch and reference time.
Viewers feel more in control, which increases trust and time on page.
On Meta, ads with in-feed markers or mini-sections (think UGC carousels or VSLs with pauses) show better performance for scroll-stoppers, but not always for final conversions.
What I recommend however IS..
If your VSL is 30+ mins and you’re driving retargeting or email traffic, adding timestamped chapters or a mini “what to expect” index below the video can:
Improve watch time
Reduce bounce
Increase trust
But for cold traffic or aggressive DR scaling:
I would recommend short 15-30 min VSLs which crushing now!
Only thing is when you want to make them work, you gotta be clear on your positioning, USP, mechanism, deeper core reasons, and stories your prospects are telling!
Let me know if this helps
As a VSL copy guy there’s no platform I recommend to my clients more ❤
I’m not a VSL copy guy but same!
