Going on a Writing Retreat! With a baby? – Writing Vlog

Going on a Writing Retreat! With a baby? – Writing Vlog // Last week I went on a writing retreat and I was able to vlog the experience! This retreat was a little different from past writing retreats I went to, mainly because I brought my daughter with me. Which made things a little bit harder when it came to writing, but I still it went pretty well!

  1. This gives me such a good kick in the butt to go on a retreat. I’ve been putting them off since having our daughter and if you can do it with yours, it’s giving me courage. I was actually thinking of this same retreat (if it’s the one I think it is) and chickened out. And I’m in Toronto. 😂

    1. @@MandiLynnWrites I’m sad I missed it 🙂 But I’ll keep an eye for the next one. No more excuses! My girl is two now so it’s really all in my head.

  2. I love that you are showing yourself doing something like this WITH BABY! ❤ I’m a mama with littles, and sometimes these kinds of outings seem impossible. But this is so inspirational, it’s giving me motivation to start planning a trip of my own. So glad you had a good retreat! And thanks for sharing it with us.

    1. It was definitely hard, but so worth it! We’ve been taking her out on trips since she was about five months old and it’s made her flexible! Plus doing the trips with family first, made going solo easier as well.

  3. Birdkingdome is great. We were just there a few weeks ago. Love to see you coming up to my neck of the woods.
