-Go to YouTube Studio on your computer.
-Click Customization on the left menu.
-Choose the Basic info tab.
-Scroll down to the Contact info section.
-Delete the text in the email address box.
-Click Publish at the top right.

This makes me feel way better about deciding to put my novella as free. It’s connected to the main series I’m writing, but is still a standalone. This gives me a little more hope, lol
