If they don’t like to save the cat flexibility, then they can go for the snowflake method, the hero’s journey, or the heroine’s journey. None of them are a “this is the only way to outline your book” method so these haters of the save the cat book have a multitude of techniques to try. You are doing an amazing job just sharing your opinions and techniques. Don’t worry about them. ❤❤
I didn’t use that technique for my book, but I did use it for my screenplay. My book wasn’t the right genre for it whereas my screenplay was a perfect fit. … I like the rigid format!
I wonder how they outlined their outline, for a book on how to write a book. Lol
