This really made me think about how much time people waste waiting for motivation to show up. In my experience, motivation usually comes after you start moving, not before. That was a hard lesson for me to learn. It’s also one of the reasons They Taught You to Be Nice, Not STRONG by Orrin Conway stood out when I read it because it focuses on action over feelings.
I always dreamed of getting wealthy just to have a mansion where I could host my best friends and we could play LAN FPS all day. I still have those dreams. Friends have changed, bridges burned, but we still here. One day.
