   1. I think Temu is going out of control. The US noticed it and hence doing something about it. Amazon and eBay are very relaxed and took decades in the growth and building, Temu became an Amazon in 1 year.

   3. Because they pay taxes. Temu does all that and doesn’t pay taxes. They’re literally single-handedly stranggling the American and other European economies. The quality is also better on Amazon and no major health and security hazrds like Temu.

6. I’m for saving money. What I’m not for is giving my money to people who mark prices way up so they can live a life of luxury while I’m struggling.

   1. Its not about ripoffs. Customers should have the right to get good quality items, not junk. You might find similar items at a fraction of the cost you found somewhere, doesn’t mean they’re of the same quality.

   2. US is in a habit of getting junk… i.e , who needs $30 40 automatic car refreshner when people dont bother to take a shower in the morning? Yup, there are car refreshners ..

And hey if you want to buy from somewhere else that is made from US or imported from China that is your right, just like I have the right to shop where I want. And if I choose to buy “bad quality” that is my decision. I’m just cutting the middle man.

   4. @@CoPilot-o7w yes this is why never bought from Temu only the higher items in AliExpress that are still lower then USA for the same reason of quality being higher like a mid level to high level Walmart item. Shein was a new version of Wish but by a new company.

   3. Everything I bought from TEMU is absolute garbage. Lowest imaginable quality. Never got anything this bad from the import sellers on Amazon

   5. @@donwyoming1936 yeah you do need to pay attention to the seller names. If the seller name looks off and all pictures look like genetic stock photos I don’t buy from them. Only iffy thing i ever got was 10$ camera drone I got with one of temus promotion coupons. It’s battery life is like 10min 🤣 other then that Iv had no issues

9. Many will say make America great again. Get rid of Temu, Shein, Aliexpress and etc. Next thing you know, thousands of new websites in US will just be reselling and drop shipping the same products.

   1. Half the crap on Amazon is that already.

   2. They’ll still need to go through the same customs channels, whether they are temu or a drop shipper. If you try and bend the rules you have committed customs fraud.

   4. @@user-ml8dm9fz6l yes while this may be true that many things are made in China, individual purchases is what is primarily being affected here, while wholesalers will be under similar rules more than likely

   5. We can only get certain things in the US that have at least parts made from “import”. This came from allowing our business in the US to outsourcing cheaper items than making them in the US.. we will have to pay more if we only buy “made in america products”. However, if we get in a war. At least we will have the producers to make it in the US vs. Importing from say a country we are no longer to import from.. We allowed our government to shaft us in the US to let big corporations to save more and get more profits..

10. Team is already ahead of them. It’s crazy how I order and I can get it within a couple days because now they got a local warehouse.

    1. Honestly I’m rooting for temu. It’s very clearly greedy middlemen like Amazon and other that support this because Temu is their competition. We can go hurrah America made all you want but american ain’t got the infrastructure to compete with China thanks to America.

11. So far everything I have bought was legit, but the packaging was damaged to the point where it wouldn’t be sold on a retail shelf. I’m more worried about Amazon gouging now that they murdered their retail competition.

The clue was their attempt to stupidly enter business entities as Space travel, Medical, Grocery Stores and others, low price luring the public to their site. Then the raise of their Prime Membership fee, free 2 day shipping non consistent and many more reasons to realize Amazon is going to suffer, along with Walmart.

12. Temu actually have some pretty good stuff. Amazon is funding the destruction of Temu.

    2. Most of the stuff I got from Temu left stains on my hands or broke within a few days, if it worked at all. When it first came around it was pretty good, but lately it’s not worth the dirt cheap prices even. Amazon has been flooded with counterfeit crap from Temu so it’s kind of getting the same way lately :/

15. I have found the exact same products from walmart, that are on Temu. The items on Temu are much cheaper than Walmart, it just goes to show who is screwing who, because Walmart is buying from the exact same sellers.

    2. Temu is having goods subsidized by PRC to implode U.S. businesses. The goal is to shutdown global competition and leave only China left, then the low price ride is over and China will have the ability to cripple other nations. (Taken right from Walmart’s playbook!)
       This takes a lot of money, so they also steal from their independent sellers to help recoup that spending.

Same time I bet they will get a grant or a subsidy where the taxpayer puts the bill for all of those tariffs that they would pay yet they will raise their prices even more on us

17. Temu products have come through about 90% of the time for me. I enjoy the great deals and still shopping. If Temu or any other company were to ask for my SS# to order, then I would shut down ordering and leave them. Keep the deals coming and I will stay to continue to save with Temu !!

18. Interesting. I am sure Temu has been a huge pain in the rear for Amazon if anyone. I personally like Temu and have gotten some really good stuff and some really bad stuff. It is hit or miss. I do a lot of crafts with children and the elderly. Being able to buy some craft items on Temu has made it a lot more affordable for me to do so.

    3. Agreed, I only buy non electronics from Temu though, things that can malfunction I don’t buy. I only buy kitchen utensils, clothes hanger wire, etc. I did buy a foot massager one time and it didn’t work, so I asked to return it, they message me that they send me the money which I got, and told me to keep the item or throw it away, which I did. I guess it was more expensive to return the item.
