Great ideas! I am always open to different ways to make money. Costs of living are going up and up. Be well.
As a teenager I would wash and wax cars in the apartment complex I lived in. Easy money with no travel and my mom was the apartment manager so I had the bosses blessing lol.
How much did you make?
@@stevedavenport1202 1987. $15 a car. Maybe $90 a month. I would pull in enough to help my single mom not pay for my school food or mall food!
That’s awesome

What is the name of Amazon? To sell this product. This is the one I’m interested in . Thanks you
Thank you for this.. Money is tight for everyone I know, and these ideas are ones I am interested in and shared with my family and friends..
That’s awesome – My “side hustle” is lead generation, I build a website, rank it, and sell the leads for monthly CASHFLOW! #thedigitallandlord
How do you contract people out rather then employ them? Please ans thank you
How would u get the money from Amazon? If they don’t have no info?
I bought a washer and dryer from Craig’s list, he hauled off my old my set fixed and sold them
I’ve never bought an appliance thanks to Craigslist free and similar.. well to be fair when I bought my most recent house it came with everything but a dryer, but I could easily have done it again
That contracting work on indeed was nice. Thanks
These are great hustles. What an excellent presentation too!! Additionally, it’s important to find hustles you can subcontract and become a business owner. Even just being a middleman between clients and someone on Fiverr is better. You can’t scale if you’re always doing the work and worse, you can’t take a break or even retire. Approach side hustles with the mentality of eventual financial freedom. I became wealthy from a side hustle too. I was just obsessively intentional.
I e had my own housecleaning business for 28 years . I always get referrals and even during economic down times I’ve stayed busy. I’m able to right off my new Lexus and I stay in shape. I make 60$ an hour too.
How do you find good workers?
@@lisanicolette5237 I’m a control freak so I do everything myself. I like a job where I don’t worry about people not doing things right. High end customers like to know they trust the person in their house and there is a lot of turnover in businesses that hire cleaners.
@@lisanicolette5237 It sounds like maybe she IS the worker.
@@lisanicolette5237 I do it myself because I can’t stand dealing with employees. Most people wouldn’t want to do my job unless they made decent money because it’s not a slacker job.
@@lisanicolette5237at $60 an hour, how do you find clients!
I got bored very quickly after I retired. My entire life whether as a kid always out playing or as an adult with my job, I was always very active. When I retired in my 50’s I needed something to do away from the house so I could keep busy, not be bored.
I decided to try lawn mowing. My plan was to get out for a couple hours a few days a week, work at my own pace and take coffee breaks as I pleased. It didn’t take long to discover there is a demand for this service. I go out 4 days a week for no more than 6 hours a day and collect $800-$1000 per week.
It’s a great way to earn extra income. Anyone with a way to transport a lawn mower should never be short on cash.
Where is this? In California it feels like there’s a million landscaping businesses with Mexicans that’ll work for $1 an hour

What are the prices one should charge, I have 0 idea on that
@@joselaynez1579 What you charge depends on where you live. I phoned a few lawn care companies pretending to be a potential customer to get some quotes for my lawn. I know how big my yard is and I use that for comparison to others. For the most part I charge everyone the same unless the lawn is quite a bit larger than mine, then I charge $10-$20 more, or if the lawn is small I will charge $10 less. Like I said though, the price will be different depending on where you live. My normal charge is $40 per lawn, unless for reasons I stated.
I’m not a full blown business trying to make a living, it’s just something to keep me busy in my retirement years. I can inform you of the very basics and what I do. If you are looking to start a full time business I’m not the guy you should speak with.
@joselaynez1579 depends on the size of the yard tbh if your just starting out and don’t know much besides cut the grass I’d say for a regular sized home charge about $50 front and sides and add extra for the backyard as you see fit. This will give you room to test where their minds at with expectations if they say just front and sides you know your price is too high and they may not stay for awhile so looking into working with them but if they say OK how much for the back too then you know they really want their yard cut and you have wiggle room for add ons good luck brother
Thank you for speaking in a normal, articulate, non-screeching voice that encouraged me to listen to the end 🎉
it was AI dude
8:40 services for the elderly in need of help with physical labor, moving heavy stuff, grocies etc.
Hey, I may be interested. Can I ask where you are located.
Be wary of reselling mattresses, which is often illegal for health reasons and bed bug risks. Check local regulations.
@@Mushroom.Madness.wow I didnt realize bed bugs are so bad overseas. In my country I dont know anyone who owns a first hand matress until theyre elderly and actually need one for back pain.
The matresses here just get re-purchased round and around and around…
You are so right about creating a “Home Service “ business from scratch! This business picks up very quickly and that special touch for advertising is 100. I moved back home to Philly yrs. ago and went to a Michael’s store, found some nice parchment paper, burned around the sides with a lighter, got simple twine and wrapped each invite and found a bag of miniature clothes pins to secure and the phone began to ring! In a month I had 6 new clients!
That simple
Whats the business? If you don’t mind sharing?
My 13 year old nephew saved up and bought a cheap electric pressure washer and went around our neighborhood offering to clean peoples trash cans for $10 each and made $100 his first day. If a 13 year old can do it anyone can. It’s about having the motivation
That is awesome, however appearance plays a big part. For others it may take more skill or charisma
@ I agree the fact that he’s a 13-year-old kid definitely helped him. Just wanted to spread the word for motivation though, it’s possible for anybody you just have to want it bad enough.
I would pay $10 to have my trashcan cleaned!
That’s great for him, but try knocking on someone’s door as a 40 year old man with just a pressure washer and ask to clean their cans, they gonna look at you like you have wings….
Maybe true! But back to motivation it goes – we can make excuses…or we can place a hand written note on the door or in the mailbox 🤷♂️@markovart6094
This video is a great starting point, but remember to research the legal and logistical aspects of any side hustle thoroughly before jumping in. A little preparation can save you a lot of headaches down the road!
I sold on amazon for several months and the fees they charge once you sale is crazy you end up with little to no money back its a waste of time
Is kdp you’re talking about??
What 2rd party did you use?
C’mon, that’s not true. People are making a killing off of Amazon.
Dunno about Amazon, eBay is like this.
Same here I am in Canada and they were paying me very little. I ended breaking even or at a loss so no need at all. I don’t know how people make money at Amazon
Regarding the home services idea, Homeowners should only hire licensed professionals that have insurance. If you hire someone random to clean your rain gutters and he slips and falls on your property, then that person who was injured on your property could sue your home owner’s insurance. When your insurance company investigates the claim and finds out you hired an unlicensed amateur they could either turn around and sue you or drop you.
I am into handyman work…started about 3 yrs ago. I have NO CARDS..I look for NO new business…..I have been booked from day one…..I have over 2 yrs of work on my books today Aug 2025. I make over 4k a month. I work about 6 hrs 5 days a week. I’m hot in the summer & cold in the winter if I’m outdoors. I LOVE IT. It’s Sunday been on the phone for 2:5 hrs talking to knew clients wanting work done. Can u imagine if I really put in the work to grow this. If I did it would b well over 10 k a month full time.
I’m pretty handy, we’re do advertise for clients
Thank you! Great information!
I have a cleaning business and know how to train others to start their own. Just need to make the leap into mentoring.
When you leave the flyers, tear one or 2 of your info strips off for yourself if no one is there to see you. Lol
