This turned into a pointless argument where it repeatedly told me I was mistaken. Basically the same responses you got.

3. I made a really slow Genie 3 world model using the Gemini app builder and nano banana. It’s like a point and click game. It only took a few minutes!

   So you would upload a picture of a room or maybe a street view of a town, You select “move” “look at” or “action”, you then click somewhere on the image, and it sends that image with the area you touched, highlighted, over to image recognition, which then reports back what and where you clicked on, which is then turned into a prompt that sent to nano banana instructing it to adjust the image to show either this new point of view or something happening.

   You can walk around town and open doors and go inside.

4. To save some time, at 3:26, instead of saving then uploading the reference image, you just copy image (right click copy or command or control + c) then paste it into google ai studio. Much faster workflow if you don’t need the reference image saved.

5. People keep saying Nano Banana “killed Photoshop,” and I suppose that’s the intended video “HOOK”. Not really. Yeah, the results look amazing on screen, but for print or serious design work it falls short. The image size limit means you can’t get the big, clean files you need for posters, packaging, etc. even with Photoshop Neural Filters and super zoom. AI images always carry a certain grit/texture because of how they’re processed, fine for a phone screen, not great when blown up. Photoshop still wins on precision: exact colors, vectors, layers, and pixel-level control that AI just doesn’t give you. AI is an awesome tool for concepts and speed, but it’s not a Photoshop killer, more like a sidekick. But I understand, it is a matter of time when it will produce 300,600 or 1200 dpi and far more control. As of RIGHT NOW, not there yet.

Now multiply this by industry (accountants, lawyers, financial advisors, chemist, doctors, architects, engineers etc and you get a lot of free profile pic on Linkedin but no so much jobs….

   2. @@TUSHARGOPALKA-nj7jx Eish. No. I haven’t found one that’s really great. They have a weird way of reading information into areas that just doesn’t make sense. As a photographer working with 5000px+ images AI upscaling from something less than 2000px looks sloppy.

8. I’m just familiarizing myself with AI Image Generation tools, and so far I’m loving it. I can see all kinds of fun, creative and practical applications. That said, it’s still a long ways away from replacing photoshop. A very long ways, frankly. For small images that don’t require explicit details, it’s great. But I’m working with large images where detail and accuracy are critical – and the AI doesn’t quite cut it for those applications. Not yet anyway.

I have tried Nano B and generally find 90 times out of 100 it doesn’t return an image, asked it to map my face to Mount Rushmore, can’t or won’t do that, asked it to make me be driving a Ferrari, can’t do that, the asked it to replace the background of a picture to that of a kung fu tournament – can’t do that.. when it works it’s fine but getting it to work is hard work

16. One I tried (and I’ve seen even cleverer uses than this one I came up with) was to describe a kitchen that I wanted it to give me an image of. It got absolutely everything spot on in terms of design but I wanted a specific shape to the room and for it to be photographed from a specific angle so I give it a plan view drawing of the kitchen I wanted with lengths on the walls and so on and then placed a simple arrow pointing the direction the camera should be looking from.
    I asked it to make me a kitchen using that plan drawing but I DIDN’T ask it what style to make the kitchen as I forgot to do so.

    It made the kitchen in the exact style and with the exact fixtures and fittings it had put into the original and took the shot from the exact precise angle I wanted it to do so!

    Colour me impressed!

    I’ve also seen people have a photo of someone and provide it with a stick figure of a person in some weird pose and they’ve applied that pose to the person.

    The uses for this sort of technology are quite simply endless.
